USD 205 Board of Education Application
The Board of Education of Unified District 205, Bluestem is seeking applications for a Board Member At‐Large. This person will serve until the position is filled at the next regular board election in November 2025.
· Interested persons who wish to be considered for the position must:
1. Be a citizen of the United States;
2. Be a resident of the District;
3. Be at least 18 years of age; and
4. Not be an employee of the District.
· Applications are available in the Bluestem Central Office, 625 S. Mill Rd., Leon, KS 67074; or click the link above.
· All interested persons must submit an application to the Bluestem Central Office, 625 S. Mill Rd., Leon, KS 67074 before 4pm on October 7, 2024. This application must include the applicant’s resident address, telephone number, and a statement of the reasons why the applicant desires to serve on the Board of Education as an At‐Large‐Member. The applicant may also submit a resume or additional information in support of his or her candidacy.
· Each individual who submits an application will be notified of the date that he or she will be provided an opportunity to make a statement to the Board of Education and to respond to questions from Board members.
· The Board of Education pursuant to KSA 25‐2022, will then select the person to serve as a Board Member.
