Congratulations to 8th grader Regan Neal, she broke the school record in the 800 meter yesterday at the TVL track meet. She also holds the school record for the 3200 meter run also. Way to go Reagen!

Stop by the Leon Senior Center to see the local, past & present high school art collection. Thankful for LSC for allowing us to display our artwork with really well known artists! Artwork will be on display a few more weeks before the show comes to an end.

Friday, May 3, 2024, The HS Track team went to Remington to compete in the Larry Brown Invitational. It was a great day for a track meet and our athletes performed very well. I can’t say enough about this group of athletes we have this season. They truly make coaching fun! Remington has a 6 lane track-We had several athletes just miss out on making finals. However, we saw multiple athletes set new PR’s at the meet. Results were: NPR’s: Kaylyn Defore-300M Hurdles, Brooklyn Korte-200M and TJ, Kenzie Gaston-TJ and LJ, Jazmen Caywood-Shot Put, Terrin Fewin-Shot Put, Dakota Veatch-200M, Evan Worrell-TJ, Logan Squier-Javelin and Discus, Dallyn Ashley Moore-Javelin and Discus. 4th- Brooklyn Korte-Triple Jump 3rd- Brooklyn Korte-Pole Vault, Girls 4 X 100 2nd- Mallory Potter-High Jump Great day to be a Lion!! #LionPride
