The concert will begin with the BHS Choir followed by the first performance of our newly organized Bluestem Jazz Band, and the concert will conclude with the High School Band. The High School Band will also be performing the world premier of a piece written by Mr. John Templin, a former Band Director at Bluestem and current Leon resident, titled “Bluestem March” dedicated to the students of Bluestem. Be there or be square. Seniors-Please come to the office to pick up your cap and gown. The mini-ag day that was scheduled for today has been postponed. Any helpers assigned to help with this do not need to report. Students please know that the use of hacky sacks has become a distraction in the school. They are no longer allowed to be used. Friday, April 26, 2024, The HS Track team went to Hillsboro to compete in the James Thomas Invitational. We are very proud of of our athletes and their efforts this season. We were able to compete against several schools that are in our Regional this year. Several of our athletes set new PR’s at the meet. Results were: NPR’s: Kolette Williamson-200M and TJ, Kaylyn Defore-300M Hurdles, Mallory Potter-LJ and Discus, Terrin Fewin-Javelin and Discus, Brooklyn Korte-TJ, Girls 4 X 100 ran a season best, Delaney Herrman-Shot Put and 100M, Axton Vice-100M and Javelin, Dakota Veatch-400M and LJ. 4th- Axton Vice-Pole Vault 3rd- Brooklyn Korte-Pole Vault 2nd- Mallory Potter-High Jump Great day to be a Lion!! #LionPride

Due to inclement weather this evening, the TVL Middle School Track Meet will start at 1:00 pm. Bluestem Junior Senior High School will have an early release at 12:30 pm to accommodate staff who are running the event. Bus times will run as normal.
